Another Sedgwicks cassette, four songs from April 1989

10 Feb

This is the second Sedgwicks cassette that I’ve posted, the other was one that guitarist David Beckey had found. Of course, I found one a couple of weeks later.  Great guitar pop songs that fit the time perfectly and sound great today. Thanks to Jay & David for allowing me to present this great old tuneage.

Stunned I was as I glided through this cassette. Jay and Ed Ackerson together (and Tommy Roberts too!). This is Jay post-Sedgwicks and pre-Hovercraft/Shatterproof. World class singing, playing, and songwriting- absolutely wonderful. Thanks to Jay for saying yes to my request to post these great songs.
